John Barnes, a former player for Liverpool, has urged manager Jurgen Klopp to sign Chelsea attacking midfielder Mason Mount.
Barnes claimed that Mount can play in any of the front three positions and has a great attitude.
Over the past three seasons, Mount has established himself as a dependable starter for Chelsea.
He has assisted the Blues in winning three trophies since his return from two loan stints at Vitesse and Derby County.
When asked whether Mount would be a quality addition to Liverpool’s squad, Barnes was quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying, "Absolutely." He can play in any of the three forward positions or the midfield positions. He’s got a great attitude, he’s still young, he’s English, he understands, and he works really hard.
“But alongside [Jude] Bellingham and Declan Rice, most of the players whom we would want to improve us now won’t be available in January.”
