KAA Gent head coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck has expressed concerns over the current form of star striker Gift Orban.
Orban, the Buffalos top scorer last season, has struggled in front of goal recently.
The 21-year-old last registered a goal for Gent against Sint Truiden in August.
The Nigerian put up a shambolic display in the club’s 1-1 draw against RWDM last weekend.
Vanhaezebrouck complained that Orban totally disappeared from the game.
“He is the top scorer, after all. We created many chances, but not when he came on. That also means something,” Vanhaezebrouck remarked.
“You also have to be able to create your chances. We barely saw him. You have that as a striker. You have periods when every ball falls well, but not now. Our crosses were not good enough either.”
Orban has scored twice in seven league outings for Gent this season.
