Just when things have started to go well for The Gunners after a miserable start in the English Premier league this 2017/2018 season, Shkodran Mustafi limps of the field in pain, helped by the German team’s medical personnel.
It happened yesterday the 28th of October, 2017 in Mainz, Germany, as The Germans defeated Azerbaijan 5:1. German head coach Joachim Loew believed the 25 year Old’s injury was serious, he said ‘It doesn’t look good; It looks like he had a torn ligament. We’re waiting for a full diagnosis, but it looks like he will be out for a while’.
Tough times for The Arsenal, with a run of tight fixtures to come. They’ll play away to Watford on Saturday, then travel to Belgrade on Thursday for a Europa group stage match against Red Star Belgrade, and may not catch their breath before the travel once again up north to Merseyside to face Everton.
Tough times indeed for Arsenal. I wish Shkodran a quick recovery. Meanwhile Arsenal will have to make do with the likes of Big Per, Rob Holding and Callum Chambers for now.
