Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has been named in the Bundesliga Team of the Month for September.

The Team of the Month was compiled by the football facts and statistics website whoscored.com on their X handle.

Boniface registered four goals and one assist for Die Werkself in the month.

The 22-year-old netted a brace twice in September.

The Nigeria international has scored six goals in six league appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side.

The likes of Harry Kane, Leroy Sane, Matt Hummels, and Joshua Kimmich also made the selection.

Bayer Leverkusen, who are unbeaten this season, top the Bundesliga standings with 16 points.
