Ravel Morrison is one of the club's most talented young players, according to former Manchester United striker Federico Macheda.
However, Macheda believes that Morrison, a former teammate, wasted his footballing potential.
Macheda, who is currently playing for the Turkish club Ankaragucu, made his debut for Manchester United in 2009 at the age of just 17 with a memorable late victory over Aston Villa.
Paul Pogba, Danny Welbeck, and Macheda were all part of the Red Devils' youth system, but Morrison excelled above them all.
When asked which player from his age group he felt did not live up to the expectations of the football world, Macheda immediately responded, "I would say Ravel Morrison," in an interview with Rio Ferdinand's FIVE YouTube channel. He possessed incredible talent.
“This guy was a crazy man." He would come up in the first team and start to dribble [past] everybody, and everybody was shocked.
“When you watched him play, you expected him to be the next [big] thing, you know, because he had everything.
“The Man United team then had crazy players, so to come up to the first team and do the things he was doing was just crazy."
"Yeah, he would just go and get the ball everywhere and start to do crazy things.”
