Rangers' forward Cyriel Dessers could be facing a lengthy period on the sidelines following an injury sustained during the Scottish Cup final defeat to Celtic.
Dessers was forced off the pitch after just 25 minutes due to an ankle injury.
The Nigerian international is set to undergo a scan this week to determine the severity of the injury. Reports from Scotland suggest that Dessers may miss the start of next season as a result.
"I got injured in the first half, after around 25 minutes. It's my ankle," Dessers said post-match. "I tried to continue because it was the game of the year, the big final at the end of the season, one big push. But I had to come off. I'll get it assessed in the next few days."
The 29-year-old had an impressive season, netting 22 goals across all competitions for the Light Blues. His potential absence could be a significant blow for Rangers as they prepare for the upcoming season.
