David Beckham, a former Manchester United midfielder, has named Zinedine Zidane, a former Real Madrid midfielder, as the best player he has played with during his football career.

Between 2003 and 2006, Beckham and Zidane were teammates at Real Madrid for three years.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville questioned Beckham during an interview on The Overlap, "Best player you've ever played with?"

"Apart from you, Zidane," the former England international answered.

Beckham retired from football in 2013 at the age of 38.
