After twelve good years at Manchester United, David De Gea today announced his departure from Manchester United.

De Gea, who join Manchester United in 2011 was forced to leave the club due to the imminent signing of Andre Onana from Inter Milan, who is expected to be in the club in the next few days.

De Gea announced his departure today via a post on his social media pages.

He writes:

I’d would like to express my unwavering gratitude and appreciation for the love from the last 12 years”.

“I took incredible pride everytime I pulled on this shirt, the biggest club in the world”.

“Manchester will always be in my heart”.
