Akin Olowokere, the coach of Sunshine Stars, criticized Kwara United's defense as being porous.
A 2-1 victory over Kwara United was achieved by Olowokere's group on Wednesday at the Kwara Sports Complex in Ilorin.
The encounter was a warm-up match to intensify both teams’ preparations for the 2023–24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The young tactician said his team capitalized on the weak defense to snatch victory against their hosts.
“We studied them in the first half,” he said in a post-match briefing
“In the second half, we noticed that they were overconfident, and we saw a weak defense line and exploited it.”
