The Football Association (FA) has officially announced the schedule for this season's FA Cup semi-finals, which will take place at Wembley Stadium next month.
Due to concerns raised by the Metropolitan Police, Manchester United's clash with Coventry City has been rescheduled to an earlier time.
In the opening semi-final, Manchester City will face off against Chelsea at 5:15 pm on Saturday, April 20.
Following that, United will go head-to-head with Coventry at 3:30 pm on Sunday, April 21.
Initially, the FA had requested a 4 pm kick-off time for the United-Coventry match, but discussions with the police led to the decision to adjust the timing.
Reports suggest that the police deemed the match as 'high-risk', prompting the rescheduling.
While the change may have frustrated both the FA and broadcasters, it was deemed necessary for safety reasons.
