Chelsea playmaker, Joao Felix has asked to leave Stamford Bridge before the transfer deadline.
Felix has grown frustrated with his lack of minutes at Chelsea and, according to The Transfers Podcast, is pushing to leave the Premier League west London club before the January transfer window shuts down.
The report added that the Blues are now looking at possible solutions after Felix’s decision.
Chelsea decided to sign the Portugal international on a permanent transfer last summer from Atletico Madrid.
Felix has struggled since putting pen to paper on a seven-year deal with Chelsea.
The former Barcelona star has struggled to secure regular playing time under manager Enzo Maresca.
The 25-year-old has started just three Premier League matches for Chelsea so far this season.
Felix is behind the likes of Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku and Neto in Maresca’s team.
He has been linked with a move to Chelsea’s Premier League rival, Aston Villa.
