Nigeria’s Super Falcons will seek their first-ever win against Les Bleues of France when the two teams face off in an international friendly match on Saturday, November 29, 2024.

The highly anticipated clash is set to take place at Stade Raymond Kopa in Angers, with kick-off scheduled for 9:30 PM Nigerian time.

France boasts a perfect record against the nine-time African champions, having won all three previous encounters. The Super Falcons are yet to score against the Europeans, suffering defeats of 1-0 twice and an 8-0 thrashing in a 2018 friendly.

Interim head coach Justine Madugu is eager to maintain momentum following last month’s back-to-back wins against Algeria’s Green Ladies, with dominant 2-0 and 4-1 performances.

This friendly serves as a crucial preparation for Nigeria ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where the Super Falcons will compete in Group B against Botswana, Algeria, and Tunisia in Morocco.

Stay tuned as Nigeria's Super Falcons aim to rewrite history against France!
