Mason Mount, a Chelsea midfielder, believes it is past time for his team to avenge themselves when they meet Liverpool in the FA Cup final on May 14.
Following Chelsea's 2-0 FA Cup semi-final triumph over Crystal Palace on Sunday, Mount stated this.
Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored goals as Chelsea overcame Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
In February, Chelsea were defeated 11-10 on penalties by Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
"It's definitely time for us to win a final at Wembley," Mount told ITV Sport after Chelsea overcame Crystal Palace. For myself, I believe I have lost five finals.
So now we have to put the pressure on ourselves to step up, and it is going to be a tough game. We remember the last Cup final [Carabao Cup final] we played very, very recently, and now it’s time to get our payback.
