Katsina United head coach Usman Abdallah has kind words for EFCC despite his team losing to their opponent on Monday morning.

The Changi Boys lost 2-1 to EFCC in the matchday two encounter of the Nigeria National League playoffs at the Eket Township Stadium.

Abdallah said the EFCC deserved the victory with their impressive performance.

“EFCC proved that they truly needed the victory to keep their promotion hopes alive,” Abdallah begins in a chat with the Daily Post after the encounter.
“They came out hungry from the blast of the whistle, and they were rewarded with two goals before we managed to score one and missed a penalty.
“It makes the playoffs more interesting as Katsina United will have to work hard to record a victory in our final group game.”

Katsina United will lock horns against Kano Pillars in the final group game of the promotion playoffs in Asaba.
