Koulibaly reacts as Napoli win Serie A title after he joined Chelsea
Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly has reacted to Napoli’s Serie A title victory.
The Senegalese sent a congratulatory message to the club’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The success story came a season after Koulibaly left the club for Chelsea.
It was Napoli’s first league title win in 33 years, which they sealed this week following a 1-1 draw away to Udinese.
The Senegalese were at Napoli for seven to eight seasons, helping them win the Coppa Italia in 2020.
He joined Chelsea for £34 million last summer, and now the Blues stand no chance of playing in any of the European competitions next season, lying 12th in the Premier League table.

“This Scudetto had been predicted for a long time. And now it has arrived. I wish you many more titles.’
“Thank you for giving me the chance to play for this shirt and this city. Forza Napoli Sempre.’”
