Andres Iniesta has admitted he would love to return to Barcelona in the future.

The former Spain midfielder, however, acknowledged that the possibility of such a move is still distant.

Iniesta recently announced his departure from the Japanese side, Vissel Kobe.

Despite leaving Vissel Kobe, Iniesta wants to keep playing before he explores further opportunities.

“As I have said many times, I would love to return to Barcelona at some point in my life, but I still think it is far away.
“I want to keep playing football. I feel like I am still capable of playing. But as this chapter closes, we’ll see what’s possible. I want to finish my career on the pitch, and this is what I’m hoping to do,” Iniesta said.
