Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has said that the team have been “much more aggressive” in their approach since Erik ten Hag’s arrival as head coach.
The Red Devils made it three wins from their three pre-season games this summer with a 3-1 victory over fellow Premier League outfit Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
Man United have now beaten Liverpool, Melbourne Victory and Palace in their three friendlies during their tour of Thailand and Australia, finding the back of the net on 11 occasions.
Anthony Martial has scored three times in three matches, while Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford have struck twice each, with the attack flowing in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fernandes has said that the team are “feeling good” due to their strong displays this summer, and the Portugal international has detailed the change in approach under Ten Hag.
“We are obviously feeling good, the result will help with that and we are playing good football,” Fernandes told MUTV. “There are a lot of things to improve on yet, but we have time to do that and be ready for the first [Premier League] game of the season.
