After his team's 1-0 Premier League loss to Everton on Saturday afternoon, Mikel Arteta, the head coach of Arsenal, made history.
Following James Tarkowski's game-winning goal at Goodison Park, Arteta observed Everton defeat Arsenal.
Considering the result of the game against Everton, Arteta has now dropped all three of his away games against the Toffees during his managerial career.
The Spaniard is the first Arsenal manager to suffer three straight defeats against Everton in the Premier League on the road.
Arteta acknowledged that Everton played exceptionally well against the Gunners during his post-game press conference.
Arteta said, “Well, I think Everton were really good." "We have to congratulate them first for how they have turned things around, and I think they made it difficult to win the game because they were really efficient.”
Arteta’s side will now face Brentford in their next Premier League tie on February 11 at Emirates Stadium.
