In their previous game, Nigeria triumphed over Ghana with a 2-1 win under Finidi's guidance, marking his debut as head coach.
Despite facing challenges such as player absences and injuries to key team members like Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka, Finidi remains optimistic about their chances against Mali.
"We're not dwelling on the injuries and absences right now. Our focus is on winning these two matches and preparing for the World Cup qualifiers in June. We're determined to maintain the winning momentum we gained from defeating the Black Stars," he expressed.
