Abia Angels of the Nigeria Women's Professional League have named Prince Nwoke Benjamin as their new head coach.

Nwoke, who has extensive coaching experience, joined the Abia-based team.

The 37-year-old is in charge of getting the team into the playoffs, taking home the State FA Cup, and making it to the Federation Cup semifinals.

Prior to the beginning of the upcoming NWPL season, Nwoke is anticipated to resume his duties with the team right away.

He has previously managed Heartland, Apex Krane FC, Heartland Queens, Sharks FC, Depioneers FC, Desportive FC, Police Mess FC, Salpa Tehran FC in Iran, and Freetown Stars FC in South Africa.
