Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, has been named the fourth best player in the Italian Serie A for the 2021/2022 season.
So far this season, Osimhen has a total of 12 league goals and four assists in 21 games.
Despite being out of play for roughly two months earlier in the season, the Nigerian international just misses out on the top three slots in a ranking issued by British magazine FourFourTwo.
Osimhen is trailing Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli, who has been named the best player in Serie A, as well as Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic and Lazio's Ciro Immobile (3rd).
The former Lille star is, however, ahead of AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez in 5th, while Lazio’s Sergei Milinkovic-Savic, Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi, Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic, Roma’s Tammy Abraham, and AC Milan’s goalkeeper Mike Maignan made up the top 10 respectively.
The 23-year-old striker was recently awarded the Serie A Player of the Month Award for March.
