The South African women's soccer team, Banyana Banyana, kicked off their training in Abuja on Sunday ahead of their Olympic qualifier against Nigeria's Super Falcons.
Coach Desiree Ellis' squad arrived in Abuja on Sunday afternoon, with seventeen players traveling from Pretoria after a week of preparation.
Three players from overseas, Refiloe Jane, Noko Matlou, and Jermaine Seoposenwe, have joined the team in Abuja, while Hildah Magaia, Thembi Kgatlana, Linda Mothlalo, and Sinoxolo Cesane are expected to join later.
Banyana Banyana will continue their preparations for the upcoming game on Tuesday.
