Arsenal legend, Rivaldo, has revealed what he told Gabriel Jesus after the striker scored against Chelsea in Arsenal’s pre-season friendly Florida Cup final 4-0 win a few days ago.
Rivaldo said he spoke with Jesus after Arsenal defeated Chelsea and wished the Brazilian forward all the best.
Naijacrawl reports that Jesus recently joined Arsenal from Manchester City this summer.
Speaking to Betfair, Rivaldo said, “I spoke with Jesus after the Chelsea match, wishing him the best in this new phase of his career, praising his qualities as a player, and asking him to keep focused to start the new season very strongly.”
He added: “How he starts at the club will probably be crucial to his success with the Brazilian national team at the World Cup."
