Italian football expert Sandro Sabatini has suggested that Samuel Chukwueze should replace Christian Pulisic in AC Milan's starting lineup next season.
Both Chukwueze and Pulisic joined AC Milan last summer from Villarreal and Chelsea, respectively. Currently, Pulisic is ahead of Chukwueze in AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli's pecking order.
In an interview with radiorossonera, Sabatini praised Chukwueze's quality, describing him as a technical player with potential. He believes that Chukwueze should be given more playing time ahead of Pulisic in the upcoming season.
"I believe Chukwueze has quality and is a technical player that I admire," said Sabatini. "Looking ahead to next year, I prefer him over Pulisic. In my opinion, he has the potential to make a bigger impact on the team."
This perspective from Sabatini highlights the potential of Chukwueze and suggests that AC Milan should prioritize giving him more opportunities on the field.
