Sevilla have set a price for defender Joules Kounde, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea's pursuit of Kounde continues in the summer transfer window, with Sevilla refusing to sell the 23-year-old for less than €65 million (£55.6 million), according to Marca.

Chelsea have been interested in Kounde for over a year and made an unsuccessful approach for his services last summer.

With the summer departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, the Blues are in desperate need of centre-back reinforcements, and Kounde remains their top priority.

Last year, Sevilla put an €80 million (£68.5 million) price tag on the club, which scuppered his transfer to the West London team.

The deal was so close that Kounde admitted the failed switch to Chelsea affected his performances at the start of last season.
