Manchester City is in line to earn €5 million (£4.
3 million) if they defeat Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night.
The game is usually between the Champions League holders and the winners of the Europa League.
City will be looking to lift their fourth piece of silverware this evening in Piraeus, Greece.
However, they could also boost the Premier League club’s coffers.
Last season’s triple was worth an estimated £250 million to the city. They banked about £170 million in prize money for winning their fifth Premier League in six seasons.
Winning the Champions League final against Inter Milan was worth about £95 million, while they pocketed £4 million for beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final.
