Terem Moffi, a forward for the Super Eagles, will miss two weeks of action due to injury.
During Lorient's 0-0 draw with Reims last weekend, Moffi sprained his ankle.
Ibrahima Kone, a Mali international, took over for the 23-year-old in the 25th minute.
“He will be out for two weeks,” a reliable source close to Moffi told SCORENigeria.
“The injury was not as serious as first feared."
“Extensive tests and scans were done and he will soon be back.”
As of right now, Moffi is anticipated to miss Lorient's matches against Troyes and OGC Nice.
This season, the Lorient striker has 11 league appearances and eight goals.
