Manchester United's manager, Erik ten Hag, has said that at least four players on the pitch should have ensured they beat Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park, with Michael Olise’s late free-kick canceling out Bruno Fernandes’ opener.

However, Ten Hag has insisted his players should have killed Palace before the equalizer.

“We were 1-0 up. In the second half, we had a lot of space to kill them and go for the second. I never saw us really go for the second goal.

“It’s difficult to say [why]. I have to criticize my team.

“Go for the second." "Bruno and Marcus Rashford on the wings, [Alejandro] Garnacho, a lot of creativity, speed, and power, and [Scott] McTominay with penetration behind,” Ten Hag said.
