Bayern Munich have given Inter Milan the green light to sign defender Benjamin Pavard.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Pavard is set to join Inter for £25million (€30million) plus £1.7million (€2million) in add-ons.
Pavard could travel to Milan on Tuesday for medical tests before signing his contract on Wednesday.
Inter had set Bayern a deadline of Tuesday to decide whether the deal should go ahead.
Bayern are also continuing to negotiate with Chelsea over Trevoh Chalobah after seeing an initial loan proposal rejected.
Pavard was left out of Bayern's squad to face Augsburg and has also been linked with Manchester United.
Tuchel said: 'He has some problems so he's not with the squad. We understand Benji wants to join Inter but to complete a transfer, there's not only one way to consider.
'We need to find a replacement or it won't happen.'
Chalobah could well be Pavard's replacement, although Chelsea are believed to want a permanent departure rather than a loan if they are to let their academy product leave.
