Chelsea defender, Lewis Hall has left Mauricio Pochettino’s side to join Newcastle United on loan for the rest of the season.
Chelsea made the announcement in a statement via its website on Tuesday morning.
“We thank Lewis for his contribution at Chelsea and wish him well for the season,” Chelsea’s statement read in part.
The Daily Post reports that this is coming a few days after Chelsea lost 3-1 against West Ham United in a Premier League tie.
Newcastle United, however, have an option to make Hall’s move permanent.
Hall progressed through the academy system at Cobham from Under-8s level and was part of the side which won the Under-18 Premier League Cup in 2022, his first season as a scholar.
