The January transfer request for Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United has been turned down by Real Madrid.

Following his criticism of the club's owners, the hierarchy, the manager, and his fellow players in an interview with esteemed journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo appears to have already played his final match for the Red Devils.

Although Ronaldo, 37, stated in the interview that he does not really care and insisted that the fans should know the truth, Manchester United is currently looking into the possibility of terminating Ronaldo's contract.

Now that the forward's agent, Jorge Mendes, has contacted his former club, Real Madrid, they have declined the chance to re-sign him during the summer transfer window.
