Nigeria’s former U-20 and U-17 coach, John Obuh, has urged Napoli striker Victor Osimhen not to sign more than a two-year contract in his next deal.

Obuh believes Osimhen has time to repeat his goal-scoring feat of last season for Napoli, unlike some players moving to Saudi Arabia amid interest linking him with a move away from the Serie A champions this summer.

He wants Osimhen, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich, not to mind calls for him to head to Saudi Arabia.

“He [Victor Osimhen] has opportunities to build an empire for himself,” Obuh told Brila FM.
“Osimhen has time, unlike those going to Saudi Arabia. Let him repeat the goal-scoring feat that he had last season.
“Let the next contract that he will sign not be long—not more than two years. If he can do that, people will say Osimhen has arrived.”
