Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers is looking forward to facing Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League.
Rangers will come up against the Eredivisie champions in the first leg of the playoff round at Ibrox Stadium on Tuesday night (today).
Dessers played against PSV during his time in the Netherlands.
The Nigeria international stated that he is looking forward to the game and is confident of a positive outcome.
“It is a special game for me because I played for five years in the Netherlands; I know the club; I know the country, so it will be special, but I don’t want to be too sentimental about it,” Dessers told a press conference.
“The goals for Rangers and for myself are clear. I hope in these two games in the Champions League and in the coming two weeks that I can show the best of me,” he said.
The winner of the two-legged contest will proceed to the money-spinning group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
