Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has hit out at his players for conceding a “stupid” winning goal against Marseille, which came after a Neymar mistake.
The Ligue 1 champions lost 2-1 and were dumped out of the Coupe de France.
Alexis Sanchez put the hosts in front from the penalty spot before Sergio Ramos headed PSG level in first-half stoppage time.
However, a stunning effort from Ruslan Malinovskyi proved to be the winner.
Neymar tried to pull off a dummy from a simple throw-in inside his own half, and Chancel Mbemba took the ball off him.
The ball eventually broke to Malinovskyi on the edge of the box, and he rifled an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
“It was very open in the first half." Unfortunately, in the second half, we took a rather stupid goal on touch in our last 20 meters.
“From the moment Marseille scored that second goal and they put themselves in a low block with a lot of transition, that’s where we sinned a lot,” Galtier told reporters.
