Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United's interim manager, has responded to the club's 3-1 loss to Arsenal on Saturday.
The Red Devils went into the encounter at the Emirates with the goal of avenging a 4-0 loss to Liverpool.
In the first half, though, they were two goals behind thanks to goals from Nuno Tavares and Bukayo Saka, until Cristiano Ronaldo pulled one back.
Granit Xhaka's long-range strike put an end to the enthralling match between the top-four contenders.
Speaking after the game, Rangnick said: “The only weak point in our performance today was that we didn’t defend well on the sides of the box.
“We showed an improved performance but a disappointing result. We had numerous chances to score more goals.
“We hit the post twice, plus the crossbar. Very unlucky for us. ”
