Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admitted to taking a risk with his starting 11 after seeing his side triumph 5-1 in their Champions League clash with Legia Warsaw on Tuesday evening.Goals from Lucas Vazquez, Alvaro Morata, Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, and an own goal handed Real the win with the visitors grabbing a consolation penalty through Miroslav Radovic.

Still, the Frenchman said his decision to play Asensio and James Rodriguez in a three-man midfield had upset the balance of the team.

"Defensively, the balance of the team was not perfect sometimes. They did not really make chances, but were able to counter-attack easily sometimes. The good thing is that we made many chances to score and scored five goals," said Zidane.

"I am happy with the attacking performances. We played a very offensive XI and that meant more risks."But that was the option taken and we played a bit more attacking today. Sunday will be another game and a different team."

Zidane also praised his three young players after they got on the scoresheet.

"They [Asensio, Morata and Lucas Vazquez] did very well, not just in the game today, but with their work all week," Zidane said. "We will have many games and all players will get chances. But I am happy with what the three up front are doing."

Real are now level on seven points with Borussia Dortmund and face the Germans in Spain on December 7.

The embattled Welshman cum Real Madrid player; Gareth Bale has now confirmed that he would consider a return to the Premier League if Real Madrid finally let him leave the club.

Bale blames the Spanish club for not allowing him to leave sooner and says it is nice to feel "appreciated" when he joins up with the Wales squad.

The Welshman says he wants to play football and would consider a return to the Premier League if Real Madrid allow him to move on.

Bale appeared frustrated that several attempts to leave Spain have been blocked by the club and says his future is in Real Madrid's hands with two years left on the contract he signed in October 2016

"If those options arise (interest from Premier League clubs) it is something I'd look at for sure," he added.

"We'll see what happens, we have plenty of time in this transfer window and a couple of others as well. Time will tell but mainly I think the reason is that the decision is in Real Madrid's hands.

"I tried to leave last year but they blocked everything at the last second. It was a project I was excited for but it didn't materialise.

"There have been other instances where we have tried to go but the club won't allow it or they've done something. It's down to the club.

"I want to play football, I am still motivated to play football, so I guess it's on the club. They are in control of everything. I have a contract, all I can do is carry on what I am doing and hopefully something comes up.

"I am only 31 still but I feel I am in great shape still and feel like I have a lot to give. We will see what happens. It's in the club's hands but they make things very difficult to be honest."
