Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro and American actor-turned-media personality Terrence J have been named as hosts for the 16th edition of the Headies Awards by the event's organizers, Smooth Promotions.

The 16th Headies Award will be held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, USA, on September 3, 2023.

The same venue hosted the 15th edition last year, when the Headies Awards were held outside Nigeria for the first time.

The Daily Post recalls that Burna Boy led the nominations for this year’s event with 10 nominations, including African artist of the year, best Afrobeats album, best male artist, and song of the year.

Asake, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr, Oxlade, Johnny Drille, Blaqbonez, Spyro, Seyi Vibez, KCee, and Victony are set to perform at the ceremony.
