Popular and controversial figure Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, has been unable to fulfill the bail conditions granted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Bobrisky was apprehended by the Lagos State Command of EFCC on Wednesday on charges related to naira mutilation, abuse, and spraying of naira notes.
EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed this on Thursday, stating that "Bobrisky has been given administrative bail but has yet to satisfy the bail requirements."
In a statement posted on its official page, EFCC disclosed that it summoned the 31-year-old following a video report showing him spraying and displaying bundles of new naira notes at the premiere of Eniola Ajao's movie "Ajakaju" at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos, on March 24, 2024.
The investigation further revealed that Bobrisky allegedly committed similar offenses at various other event centers and parties on different occasions.
