Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, a Nigerian music singer, has announced that he is the highest-paid artist on the African continent.

On Saturday morning, the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist announced this in a message on his verified Twitter profile.

He claims that his ambition to keep making money from the sector is insatiable, claiming that money does not satisfy him.

"I stated money doesn't please me, and that's true, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm the highest paid musician in African music history," he remarked. "Believe it or not," she says.

Remember that both the Nigerian Afrobeats singer and Wizkid won Grammy Awards in 2021.

While Burna Boy took home the award for Best Global Music Album, Wizkid took home the award for Best Music Video for his collaboration with Beyoncé, "Brown Skin Girl."
