The now-famous German music band 255, pronounced "two fifty-five, have recently revealed that they traveled to Nigeria specifically to seek a collaboration with world-renowned Grammy winner Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy.
The band, which is made up of Charles, Guy, and Louis, has flown down to the country of Lagos State to create a song with the award-winning, self-acclaimed African Giant.
255 took to informing the public of this venture on their social media and uploaded a video that documented their full journey from the moment they boarded the airplane to the actual point of when they landed in Lagos to be welcomed by the "Common Person" hit maker.
There was no hesitation from either party, as the collaboration seemed to be of high priority. As soon as all the relevant parties had gathered in the studio, the music-making session began.
Burna Boy, 255, and the accompanying team were all enjoying the vibes of the song as soon as the recording was finished. It appears that a potential hit has been created, and the anticipation is high.
255 have become synonymous with blending genres like reggae, rock, and hip-hop, so the combination of the group and Burna Boy has the potential to create a musical masterpiece.
Burna Boy is one of Nigeria’s most prolific exports, and it is great to see him engaging in international collaborations, helping to bring African music to the rest of the world.
