The long awaited headies award for the year 2019 is here once again and our long list of winners for the different categories emerged last night, though it was reported that there was a low audience turn out for the event.

Here is the full list of the winners:

Best vocal performance female: Teni Uyo Meyo winner.

Best vocal performance male: Wurld wishes and butterfly winner.

Rookie of the year: Barry Jhay winner

Best street-Hop artiste: Chinko ekun Able God winner.

Best recording of the year: Uyo Meyo Teni winner.

Best rap single: Falz talk winner.

Best alternative song: Johnny drille finding efe winner.

Best rap album: Falz moral instruction winner.

Lyricist on the roll: AQ crown winner.

Best collabo: Burna boy ft zlatan killin dem.

Best performer: Yemi alade winner.

Best R&B single: seyi shay ft runtown gimme love.

Best pop single: Teni case winner.

Best R&B/pop album: Mayorkun Mayor of Lagos winner.

Headies viewers choice: Teni winner.

Hip pop world revelation: Mayorkun winner.

Best music video: dangote by burna boy but the award goes to the director Clarence peters.

Album of the year: Moral instruction Falz winner.

Producer of the year: killertunez fake love Duncan mighty ft wizkid winner.

Next rated: Rema winner.

Song of the year: Ye Burna boy winner.

Artist of the year: Burna boy winner.

    Power TV series star Omari Hardwick was the talk of the NAACP Awards after he was video kissing Beyonce.

    The TV star who played Ghost in power TV series was seen trying to take picture with Jay Z  before he moved over to greet Beyonce, he initially pecked Beyonce before a brief hug and he won't further to kiss Beyonce directly beside her lips. 

    Beyonce was flushed and little embarrassed as it can be seen in the video .See video below.

    Peter Okoye of the defunct Psquare group is currently finding his solo career great.

    Peter splitter from Psquare in 2017 and since then both brothers have been running a solo career. Mr P as peter is now called has released quite few singles which has managed to do well in the music industry.

    He was nominated for International Achievement Recognition Award, an European award. He was nominated along side other African artists like;  Diamond platinumz. Peter went away with the award as he was named best international male artist. Although, he wasn't at the award ceremony to receive it due to is US/Canada tour but he has grabbed his first award.     DAVIDO BREAKS RECORD AT BET AWARD

    David Oyeleke, popularly known as Davido clinches another BET award yesterday night in Los Angeles in the best international act category. He was nominated along side Stormzy, Fally Ipupa, Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyoves amongst others. He emerged the winner last night and he will be the first African and Nigerian to be presented with the BET award on stage.

    In his victory speech, he thanked his fans and the DMW crew, he also share his condolence with Dbanj who lost his one year old son on the same day. See full list of winners below.
