Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has unveiled the surprising inspiration behind her journey into the music industry.
The 'Koroba' hitmaker revealed that her initial aspiration was to pursue acting, but a romantic interest led her to pivot towards music. In a recent interview with MTV, Savage disclosed that her crush's frequent presence among musicians prompted her to shift focus from her "first love," acting, to pursue a career in music.
"I've always harbored a passion for acting, which was my first love before music," Savage expressed. "However, my infatuation with a particular individual who frequently associated with musicians ultimately steered me towards the path of music."
This revelation comes as Tiwa Savage gears up for the release of her debut movie, 'Water And Garri,' slated to premiere on May 10, 2024, via the esteemed global streaming platform, Prime Video.
