Singer Fabian Blu, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Records, has made shocking allegations about his time with the label, claiming he was introduced to hard drugs and a dangerous lifestyle during his stay.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Fabian Blu revealed that he suffered discrimination, verbal, and physical abuse while under Marlian Records. He also accused the label of owing him royalties and attempting to ruin his reputation after his exit.
The singer, who joined Marlian Records in 2020 and left in 2022 after his contract expired, shared that he released four singles under the label before parting ways.
Reflecting on his experience, Fabian Blu stated:
“I got introduced to drugs in Marlian Music. They were too gangster for me. I left the label the same year and month as Mohbad, and they spread rumors that I was mad.”
His revelations come amid ongoing controversies surrounding Marlian Records, further raising concerns about the label’s alleged toxic environment.
