Following Black Sherif's major break, Ghanaian rapper Shatta Wale has cast shade at his folks.

He used the most divisive blue bird app, Twitter, to praise Nigerians while carpeting Ghanaians for their laziness.

Nigerians, he claims, are the only ones who understand what genius is, and Ghanaians should take notes from them. He stated that Nigerians are the only ones that stream artists' songs, as they did for Black Sherif, while Ghanaians sit back and compare their music to Nigerians'.

Shatta Wale remarked that his fans will chastise him for finally confessing the truth, but that he is doing so so that Ghanaians can improve their music since "Ghana music is an embarrassment."
