The immediate-past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has expressed his indifference toward the ongoing probe of his administration by the state House of Assembly, suggesting that the investigation might not succeed.
El-Rufai made these remarks during a Sallah gathering with his associates.
Addressing his supporters, El-Rufai advised them to avoid engaging in a war of words with the governor’s aides. He confidently predicted that the current turmoil would eventually subside, likening the situation to candy falling from a child's hand after being tossed around.
“Support the governor and his cabinet members with prayers for them to do the right thing. Don’t feel hurt with what’s going on. When he is done prancing, he will fall off like candy [in a kid’s hand],” El-Rufai said.
