The Katsina State Hisbah Board has intercepted a large shipment of alcohol, seizing 142 cartons intended for delivery to the Daura Local Government Area.




Dr. Aminu Usman, the state Hisbah Commander, shared the news with the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday. He explained that the seizure took place on Monday during a city-wide patrol aimed at eradicating immoral behaviors and indiscipline.


The operation, conducted along the state's ring road, led to the interception of the vehicle transporting the alcohol.


Supervised by Malam Nafi’u Ma’azu-Akilu, the seized items were safely transported to the board’s headquarters for further investigation.
