The case of child trafficking is now at the rise again in the country as more child traffickers are been apprehended by the Nigerian police force and their numerous victims rescued.
The Kano state command has rescued eight kids been kidnapped at numerous location in the country. It was learnt that the most of the kids were kidnapped on their way back from school in kano and sold to some buyers in far away Anambra state. This ugly act has been going on for over five years now, from 2014 to 2019.
Parading the suspects, the state commissioner of police Ahmed lliyasu stated that the suspects were busted when one Paul owne kidnapped one Haruna Bako and wanted to relocate him to Anambra state where he would be sold before he was apprehended by the men of the police force.
Among the suspects arrested were, Paul Owne, Mercy Paul, Emmanuel Igwe, Ebere Ogbodo, Louisa Duru and Monica Orachaa.
