Gunmen shot four travelers early on Sunday, June 12 along the Ijabe/Ila road in Osun State.

The victims were claimed to be in a car traveling from Ila-Orangun to Ijabe when the armed men opened fire, injuring four people.
Immediately after the incident, the Osun Amotekun Corps from Odo-Otin and Ila local government areas went after the offenders, and one of the suspects was caught.
The apprehended man is thought to be the gang's boss.
The suspect was handed over to the police by Amotekun operators, and the matter has been handed over to the state's police command.
