In a significant move to curb crime, the Bauchi State Police Command has successfully apprehended three members of a notorious armed robbery gang that had been terrorizing the Misau Local Government Area.

The suspects, identified as Ahmad Musa (aka Abba Yausa, 20), Tijjani Abdullahi (aka T.J, 20), and Danladi Aliyu (aka Uban Daba, 30), were arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy, housebreaking, and armed robbery.

According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Ahmed Muhammad Wakil, the suspects unlawfully entered a residence in Misau LGA in July 2024, armed with locally made pistols and seven rounds of live ammunition. They stole N250,000, three handheld phones, and an unspecified number of recharge cards from various networks.

Commissioner of Police, CP Auwal Musa Muhammad, has called for a thorough investigation and prosecution of the suspects. Efforts are also ongoing to capture other fugitives linked to the crime, including Ismail Kawuwa, Sadiq Kange, Adamu Dan Kamfani, and Attahir.
