Sequel to the approval of the new 30,000 national minimum wage bill for government workers in Nigeria by the national assembly, the President of the Senate Dr Bukola Saraki has today signed the bill into law.

This is coming after long negotiation between the federal government and the Nigeria labour Congress and few industrial actions by the labour Congress towards actualizing the proposal. The Senate finally approved the proposal after it passed the third bill in the house.
